Dr. William Dallari is a technical expert and a European patent attorney candidate at MERH–IP.

William obtained his BSc and MSc degrees in Electronic Engineering with a focus on Nanotechnology from the University of Genoa, Italy. Subsequently, he earned a doctorate in Nanosciences from the University of Genoa within a PhD program supported by the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) under the supervision of Prof. Diaspro. His research activity was focused on the optical characterization of nanostructured materials, photochromic compounds, and photoinitiator molecules for applications in 3D optical data storage and subdiffraction direct–laser–writing lithography.

After receiving his doctoral degree, William joined the group of Prof. Krausz at the Max–Planck–Institute of Quantum Optics in Garching, as a post–doctoral research fellow for 3 years. Here, he worked in the field of experimental laser–plasma physics on high harmonic generation (HHG) from solid surfaces with the aim of producing ultra–intense isolated attosecond pulses.
William started his IP career at MERH-IP in early 2016 and his main focus is patent prosecution in the fields of semiconductors, electronic components and systems, and automotive engineering.
