Xinyao Zhang

Xinyao Zhang is a qualified Chinese patent attorney and is currently training for European patent attorney qualification at MERH-IP.

Her practice is focused on drafting and processing European patent applications. Her technical expertise includes communication and information technology, image processing, artificial intelligence, video and audio codec, television equipment, camera equipment and semiconductor technology.

Xinyao obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Radio and Television Engineering from Communication University of China. She then obtained a master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Communication University of China. She has more than 8 years of experience as a patent examiner at China National Intellectual Property Administration, mainly responsible for examining patents related to image processing, video codec, television equipment and camera equipment.
